About the event
Join me and offer yourself the precious gift of time, so that you can nurture yourself and honour your well-being needs.
❄️ As we transition into Winter, it is a time when our wellbeing needs naturally change. Winter is the season of hibernation, and therefore a time when our bodies require us to slow down, withdraw our energy and rest.
😢 The demands of daily life however, can make this challenging. Modern life doesn’t emphasise the importance of seasonal living nor does it acknowledge the benefits of a cyclical lifestyle. In the main, we are encouraged to adopt the same life choices all year around.
💜 Seasonal living however, benefits our physical, emotional, mental and spiritual wellbeing. Being aware of our environment, encourages a deeper connection with the pace and patterns of nature. Being aligned to these changes around us, helps us to feel more grounded.
🥺 It can be difficult to allow ourselves to slow down or rest. Many factors can get in the way. Our inner dialogue may shame us when we choose to rest, through beliefs of laziness or feelings of guilt. Our responsibilities may lead us to believe that we don’t have time to rest or that we are selfish if we prioritise our needs over the needs of others.
💫 This is your opportunity to ‘Rest & Recharge’ through restorative and self-nourishing practices. Discover how to listen more intently to your well-being needs and learn a variety of practices to respond with. We will explore ways in which you can make subtle adjustments to the way you live, so that you can ground, integrate and embody a simpler way of being.
I feel deeply privileged to be facilitating this enlightening and deeply rejuvenating day. I look forward to seeing you there.
With sacred blessings, Helen
