Boost your energy levels with these delicious homemade cacao energy balls. Packed with healthy ingredients, they're perfect for a quick snack!
RECIPE INGREDIENTS :
120g pitted dates
60g almond meal
25g chia seeds
25g cacao powder
50g smooth peanut butter
30g melted coconut oil
QUICK WEIGHT TOP TIP:
Place food processor onto weighing scales and then zero.
Add pitted dates and then zero.
Add almond meal and then zero.
Add chia seeds and then zero.
Add cacao powder and then zero.
Add peanut butter and then zero.
Remove food processor from scales and add a small saucepan. Zero.
Add coconut oil to saucepan. Remove from scales and melt on a medium heat on the hob.
Add coconut oil to other ingredients int he food processor. Continue with method below.
RECIPE METHOD:
Place all of the ingredients into a food processor. Blitz until all ingredients are well combined.
Using your hands, roll a heaped teaspoon of the mixture into a ball. Repeat until you have made 10 balls.
Place the balls onto a plate and refrigerate for at least an hour, so that they have time to firm up.
Transfer the balls to an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
